Applicant Requirements

  1. The recipient of this scholarship must be going into their 3rd or 4th academic year in Bible college seeking to serve in one or more of the following full-time areas: Pastoral ministry, Youth ministry, Camp ministry or Worship/Music ministry.
  2. The selection of applicants will be based on the following criteria:
    1. The student shall have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 minimum.
    2. The student shall have explained, within this application, his/her leadership skills and areas of servanthood in his/her school, church and community.
    3. The student shall have explained in a typed essay, of not more than 500 words, his/her salvation testimony, ministry goals and aspirations.

Application Procedures and Plans for Awarding the Scholarship

  1. Applications must be received by April 15th .
  2. Essays must be submitted with the application and all information should be completed (incomplete applications will not be considered).
  3. The Korey Bowers Foundation committee will be responsible for selecting the scholarship recipient.
  4. The Scholarship recipient will be notified no later than May 30th.
